Just a little bit of information This was written entirely by a child who understands the world better than most adults. I take pride in trying to understand as much as I can from all points of view before making an argument or offering an opinion, and I also take pride in my self-control and patience. Please do the same and be patient with me, understanding that I have not made it nearly half way through my life and there is a lot I still need to understand about the world, and if you think something I said goes against your opinion or what you believe to be true, I am here to listen and have a constructed conversation as stated below.
Love Yourself My friends
Welcome to Taboo Topic, where I talk about it so you don't have to. My name is Owen, and this is what I have to say on the touchy subjects of the world from my own experiences.
If you've read through my entire page and want to talk about an old topic or an idea for a new post, contact me through my throwaway email or Discord<33. Thank you very much. Have a Great day<33

A joke is not racism, and feminism is hypocritical in name alone. Anyone who says otherwise is open to debate with me all day long. I say this by using a textbook definition and my own opinions formed after tons of research. I will gladly engage in an adult conversation and discuss this topic as an adult should with anyone who thinks I am wrong in that statement. Anyone who attacks me for saying this is a child who has yet to mature enough to even talk on the subject and should keep their opinions to themselves because a baseless argument from a child is not worth my time.

I know a lot of people who need to hear this. All you depressed teenagers and wannabe adults should look at this and think for a moment because someone who has been in and out of depression, struggled from the moment they were born with a disability, was raised by/around drug addicts, and experienced mental abuse, among other things, is saying this to you right now. "Don't waste your childhood; it's not worth it, my friend." If you have a chance to be a kid, have fun and be dumb while you can, because the world is a lot more punishing than you know. I know a lot of people who think they know everything, and stubborn teens will say otherwise and think they know it all, but I promise you don't, so please at least consider what I have said.

I never understood the concepts behind being "racist." I was raised in a household where we never really cared about color, but as I grew older and went to school, I learned that people holding onto the past is an issue and people need to be able to look forward, forgive, and forget. I know what the definition of "racism" is, and I agree that it is wrong and a real struggle in the world. Prejudice, discrimination, or antagonism directed at a person because of the color of their skin or their ethnic descent is unacceptable and should be prohibited, but I am happy to say I have never met a person of my generation that knows what racism is, and I feel that is an issue. I have met people who make jokes and say the "n-word" in both non-hateful and hateful ways. I've met people who use phrases like "cracker, mayo munke," but these are ultimately just jokes. Racism is a problem, but I firmly believe people are focusing on the wrong things. We need to focus less on jokes and words and more on the concept itself. It shouldn't be a thing, and programs are just feeding off of it, funding money to no avail because you are isolating yourself. Yes, you are supporting "our" or "your people" with money, but you are also supporting the idea that you think you are different from everyone else, and that idea is running through the minds of children if they think they are different. The vicious cycle will never end, and discrimination will continue, not because of what happened in the past but because of the stubborn minds in the present.

By definition, feminism is the advocacy of women's rights based on gender equality, but after speaking with feminists both male and female and conducting research on the subject, I believe it is far too hypocritical. Simply put, most people agree with me that "feminism is about all genders having equal rights and opportunities," but I feel like there's something wrong with that statement in the sign above. I know this isn't true for everyone, but claiming women are the future is misandrist; we are the future, not women or men. The United States has reached a point in time where equality of gender is still a pressing issue, but fighting that with signs that say women are the future and labels like feminism makes it sound like you're fighting because you want to be discriminated against. That sign should say equal gender rights or something along those lines, or people are the future. I firmly believe that calling yourself a feminist and then saying women are better than men are smart, etc., is on the verge of narcissism or self-pride, which people can't seem to shake because, in the end, we are all people and gender roles and sex roles shouldn't matter. And yes, this is a slightly biased one, which I don't normally do, but fighting for equalism or humanism—I know those names have different meanings, and I wish people and the educational system could understand and have more flexible minds to understand the concept—you keep a group like this running, and you keep the ideals of gender rights and discrimination based on sex alive, but just eliminate it as a whole, remove gender roles from society, because we are all the same in the end. All people bleed red. We are all here to enjoy our short time on this planet, and a group that, in essence, is supporting discrimination and keeping it alive while claiming to be fixing it is just hypocritical and a lie in the most basic sense. I would like to state that I have nothing against anyone who chooses to support any group or religion; I am simply stating my opinion based on the facts I have discovered about the group's ideals, not my opinion on the people within the group as individuals.
